Programs are individualized to meet the physical, social, and emotional well
being of each resident.We strive to create a healthy balance of medical and
rehabilitative services along with recreational and social activities,
counseling, and religious services.
Many residents come to us after hospitalization for illness, surgery, or
injury.We work closely with community hospitals to ensure a smooth transition to
Tamarac Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. We understand the importance of
maintaining a continuum of care network.
Our Medical Services include:
- Medical Director, Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine
- Physiatrists, Specialist in Physical Medicine
- Regular visits from attending physicians, dentists, and other health care
professionals
- 24-Hour Nursing: Restorative Care, Intravenous Therapy,Wound Care, Pain
Management, Enteral Therapy, Post-Surgical Assistance with Bathing, Dressing,
and Feeding
- Physical, Occupational, Speech & Language Therapies
- Respiratory Therapy
- Nutrition and Diet Therapy
