Patient Testimonials
It is with sincere gratitude that we are writing to you to thank you for all of the tender care you provided for our mother, Ruth Olivera, while she was ill. We are very pleased with all of the attention given to her by all of your staff members. Not only were they extremely professional and competent, but they were prompt and understanding. It was very comforting to have your services during this very difficult time in our lives.
To all of the staff, you have been so instrumental in Donnie's quick recovery. Every one of you always has a beautiful smile on your face which lights up the room and lightens everyone's mood. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loving, caring, and professionalism. We will always remember our time here as being such an excellent one.
I must commend your wonderful facility for all the great care given to me. As a retired RN, I know how important kind and efficient care is. The CNAs and nurses were terrific and helpful to me until I was able to do for myself. The entire staff was friendly, especially Christine (7-3 nurse), who always took the time to explain my meds and greet me with a smile; and Gabriella (3-11) who hooked my IV each night and wished me well. lslande CNA bathed me with respect and lovingly showered me.
I especially thank each therapist, led by terrific Rand, for all their hard work and encouragement. With these dedicated therapists, Jacky,
Lorri and Josh, I have improved and am learning to walk myself again. They gave me my life and independence back.
I am pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and the lovely patio area. I realize that electric door openers are expensive but it would make it easier for the transporters and more active patients to get us to therapy and outside.
Once again, thank you all for wonderful care, respect, and maintaining my dignity.
Last week I had the pleasure of accompanying my mother, Shirley Schwartz, along with other Tamarac residents on a luncheon outing to Outback steakhouse. When my mom first told me about the outing I thought she must be mistaken.
I checked with Shivone and Donna in social services. To my surprise, Shirley was correct and an outing was scheduled. Though Shirley and I met the others at the restaurant, the special-needs transportation to the restaurant was fast and well coordinated. Actually, Shirley and I were the late arrivers.
The planning and communication by Tamarac staff must have been very thorough, for that would have been the only way Outback could have been so prepared for our special space needs. We were all physically very comfortable. The waitresses we're professional, the food was prepared and served quickly. The ratio of staff to residents was perfect.
In summary . . . the luncheon was flawless! I thought it might have been an overly ambitious undertaking to begin with, so I was prepared for a disaster. Just the opposite took place. I am sure I can speak for the residents, staff and guests (family) like myself, when I say we had a great afternoon. I am looking forward to the next outing. And as always, thanks again to you and your staff for being so creative and caring and taking such good care of my mom.
The entire staff is very nice and considerate. What wonderful people! I plan to return and say hello!
I would like to thank you for your services for my father Sergio. Your center and staff are real professionals, plus kind and efficient. If anyone in my household needed your services, Tamarac Rehabilition is the place we would choose.
To all of you angels (nurses, assistants, therapists, food service, house keeping, maintenance, social services, activities personel, physician assistant, doector and admissions personnel) and wonderful workers who took care of my health and rehabilitation during my stay. I send my most sincere thanks and appreciation, it is people like you who make the world a special place.
This is simultaneously the hardest and the eastiest letter I will ever compose. It is inadequate to merely say thank you to the Tamarac and VITAS staff for managing my mothers care and making her last years of life so safe, secure, comfortable, and joyouis. Thanks to the care from Tamarac, my mother never suffered and by extension neither did my father nor I. This is the easiter letter because Tamarac and VITAS are so deserving of my eternal gratitude. This is the hardest letter because it is the last reminiscence of my parents and the final goodbye to a staff that feels like family.
